Each year, our organization gives several academic scholarships ranging in value from $1,000.00 to $5,000.00 to students who are deserving of funds to help defray tuition expenses-whether in a private high school, vocational school or college environment.

The five criteria we use to evaluate applicants are:

            1. Financial need

            2. Academic performance

            3. Leadership/ Peer group involvement

            4. Athletic involvement

            5. Written essay

The scholarships are awarded without regard to ethnicity, race, religion or other such factors.  To date we have awarded scholarships to students attending colleges and universities throughout the United States.

To apply for a scholarship, a candidate must complete a formal application to be submitted to the Scholarship Committee by June 1st of the year of application.

Scholarship applications can be obtained by downloading the following file:  NIASHF Scholarship or emailing Chairman Dominic Russo, at drusso@niashfmass.org.

We invite your participation in this most important program.
